不久，TFBOYS组合成员王源作为中国青年代表，受邀赴纽约联合国总部出席1月30日、1月31日举办的联合国经社理事会2017青年论坛(ECOSOC Youth Forum 2017)。会上，王源作了两分钟左右的英文发言，呼吁关注优质教育，自信淡定，向世界传达中国青年的声音，赢得了与会者的掌声。

　　演讲全文：

　　"I was fortunate to work with the United Nations China sub-group to advocate for the Imagine 2030 campaign, which aims at encouraging the young generation in China to reflect and think about the world we want to see in 2030, the year the sustainable development goals are expected to be achieved.

　　我很高兴能以联合国中国青年代表的身份来到这里，告诉大家中国青年人对2030年有什么样的畅想。希望那时候的我们能实现可持续发展的梦。

　　This campaign meaningfully engaged a large number of young people, including millions of left-behind children, and other marginalized young people, and provided them with an opportunity to express their views and share their imagination to inspire our world.

　　这一次畅想2030的活动关注了百万留守儿童和被边缘化的年轻人们，旨在提供给他们更多的机会表达自己，并通过他们的想法启迪世界。

　　I submitted a cartoon during the project, my passion for 2030 is that every young person can have access to good quality education; girls have the same potential to achieve amazing things as boys, with support from many young people across the country. The campaign, which has been running for a few months, since October 2016, recorded over 500 million views online, in support of our campaign. Understanding SDGs has become a fashion among the young people.

　　我为这一次的活动画了一幅画，表达了我对2030年的期许。希望那时候所有的年轻人都能接受好的教育，女孩和男孩也能拥有平等的机会。自2016年10月起，我们已经在网络上收到了超过5亿次的回复，大家表达了对我们的支持。也有越来越多的年轻人开始理解可持续发展计划。

　　Dear excellencies, friends and colleagues, taking this opportunity, both as a leader and a young person myself, I want to reassure you of Chinese young people’s motivation to advance and realize SDGs wherever you are.

　　做为一名中国青年人的代表，我希望我能向你们展示来自中国青年人的决心和动力。

　　I truly believe that our youth power can influence the world we live in and hope that our determination can make a difference. Thank you very much."

　　我相信年轻人的力量一定可以影响世界，带来真正的改变，谢谢大家。”
