三、 ACT阅读主旨题的答题思路
ACT主旨题主要分为全文主旨题和段落大意题。
对于全文主旨题，我们可以从以下方面着手：
►关注关键性的句子：如首段和尾段的首句、各段首句、重要转折句。并且要特别注意文章中出现的连接词(转折but/however，in fact，actually;因果so/therefore，或一些常见但在文中出现有一定目的的词the study shows that……，for example;总结或者结论的话有thus，in short，to conclude，in conclusion等)，因为这些词后面阐述的往往就是主旨句。
►注意高频词。任何一篇文章都是围绕某个主题展开的，因此，许多文章中最明显的特点之一是反复出现的中心词，即高频词，也叫做主题词。抓住了它，便容易抓住文章的中心。
当然，全文主旨题可以放在最后在做，这样更可以保证正确率。
对于段落主旨题，我们可以从以下方面着手：
♦注意区分段落主要内容和次要内容，读段落的首句和末句，并且注意段落中观点的转折变化。
♦从答案选项分析，正确选项一般不出现细节信息，一般不含过度肯定或绝对意义的词，一般还有抽象名词或概括性词语。
