　　原因1：政府低估这个做法的重要性，不会做很多。当下网络发达，每个人都可以去教育别人健康饮食，在这种情况下，政府可能会觉得它没必要做太多去把控。但事实是，正因为大家都可以随意在网络上发表指导意见，有时是传递错误信息，很多人容易被误导，这时才更需要政府介入教育普及。

　　原因2：不紧急，需要很多钱，政府财政预算有限，会优先解决其它民生问题，所以政府不会在这方面投入太多。

　　In this day and age, the topic of health andfood has been in the spotlight. However, there are still some people failing torealize the significance of a balanced and healthy diet. In this case,governments are expected to take action. From my perspective, governments arenot doing enough to instill the importance of good nutrition and healthy eatinginto people’s minds.

　　First, governments have underestimated theapproach of teaching the public stress on a well-balanced eating. To be morespecific, with the advanced Internet technology today, everyone can playhis/her role in expressing their opinions of nutrition and eating, which, tosome extent, contributes to publicizing relevant knowledge. At this point, thegovernment may consider it advisable and claim that there is no need for it totake measures. What is more, behind this explanation lies a possibility thatthe authorities treat the goal of raising people’s awareness of heathy eatingless lucrative. Nevertheless, in fact, the government does not realize thatmany have conveyed false or misleading information online, which would haverepercussions on the whole society. Just imagine a familiar scene in ourday-to-day life: our friend refuses to eat a certain type of meat for itsso-called downside on the Internet. The meat, however, goes a long way towardsproviding necessary protein for our body. To avoid such a case to happen again,though individuals may play a part, it is the government that can tackle thisproblem most completely.

　　Also, leading people to emphasize healthyeating is not urgent, meaning that the government will not invest too much init. Obviously, for governments, helping citizens value a healthy diet pales incomparison with addressing other more pressing livelihood issues. Meanwhile,educating the public to accept a favorable eating style requires a large amountof funding. Conceivably, with certain budget, the authorities prefer givingpriority to those urgent ones. It explains why governments do not perform wellin this respect.

　　Conclusively, from where I stand, topublicize the importance of nutrition and a healthy diet among people meritsgovernments’ enough attention. Governments are still expected to channel moreinto this issue. To embrace a rosy future with people considering awell-balanced eating vital, we still have a long way to go.
