　　A sweet friendshiprefreshes the soul. Life was meant for good friends and great adventures. Mostfriendships develop when we are still at school. When asked which way is thebest to make friends, I would definitely support joining a sports team.

　　In the firstplace, joining a sports team is definitely a great opportunity for students toregularly meet their peers. However, just think about how much time do youactually have for community activities; not to mention travelling with yourclassmates. Even though students spend most of their time at school, surroundedby their peers, in fact, in most cases, a student can only know a fewclassmates well. Joining a sports team enables students to see many otherstudents outside their classroom, hence allowing more time spent together toget to know each other.

　　Further, on asports team, students collaborate with each other, which can bring them a senseof unity, and close friendship can naturally develop through cooperation. Forexample, boys on a basketball team will spend a lot of time practicing together.They share the same goal and same interests; they laugh and cry together. Theirfriendship is so strong that can last for the whole lifetime.

　　Admittedly,participating in community activities and traveling could also be good ways tomake new friends. Yet, joining a sports team is arguably the best way forstudents to make friends. I hope that more and more students go out of theirhouses and a good time playing sports with their friends.
